In the current circumstances, it is more important than ever that we keep healthy habits going – like daily exercise. Over the past 20 years, DHF has helped individuals and groups improve their quality of movement and reach their wellness goals. Today more than ever we want to help not only our DHF Clientele, but their family and friends.

To assist our local community in these times, we’ve developed the 30-Day Move More Challenge as part of our Strive to Thrive Series. This free challenge will help you and your family move more each day in a fun, safe way while at home.

Why Move More

Participating in daily activity can have you moving and feeling better immediately. The US Department of Health has stated “Seven of the most ten common chronic diseases are favorably influenced by regular physical activity”.

Regular activity can help:

  • Lower your risk of type 2 diabetes and other diseases

  • Improve your blood pressure

  • Boost your mood

  • Improve cognitive skills (adults & kids)

  • Improve energy

  • Improve your sleep and recovery

  • Enhance your resilience

U.S. Physical Activity Guidelines

States we need anywhere from 4hrs up to 9 hours of movement weekly based on the individual, their needs, and goals. The confusion lies with what do we do to complete that amount of activity. We believe all activity is good if it is dosed in the right amounts, at the right time, for the goal. This is where the exclusive Movement Meter and guidance provided by your DHF Coach comes into play.
